The legion of Warships
Welcome! Today brings a message for everyone about battle ships, not just the contenders in my league. Anyone can play with these rules or you can make up your own. Just follow along especially if you are in my league because this is what you need to know. Enjoy!
My mum sent out a text asking friends if they wanted to join a battleships league that we would like to set up with them. Sixteen people agreed and so we had a league.
There are 4 mini leagues, each containing 4 players, who throughout the week will each play 3 games. Whoever comes out top of the league will move into the semi-finals. Names will be drawn out of a hat to decide who plays who in the semi-finals.
After those games, most likely on Sunday, two finalists will fight it out in the last game of the week. Then the winner will receive the fabulous prize of bragging rights, for winning the first mini season of the "Legion of Warships" (LOW).
Here are the rules:
- A battle ships grid will be given via a link that you will need to print out.
- You will need to be in contact with your opponent in any which way you would like.
- The youngest player will always start first.
- Use the insides of the squares not the lines.
- You have 6 ships:
- 1x Aircraft carrier (AAAAA),
- 1x Battleship (BBBB),
- 1x Cruiser (CCC),
- 1x Submarine (SSS)
- 2x destroyers (DD) (On the grid, it only has 1, you have 2)
- The letters represent how many squares each ship will need to use. You put the letters in a line wherever you want on the grid
- You CANNOT put ships in a diagonal lines.
- Ships CANNOT be touching - They have to be at least on square away.
