Murderer's Talk
Welcome! Today brings yet another piece of school work, which is related to previous, that I have created. Enjoy!
'Who's next then?' the Roadrunner thought to himself as he pause the spinning wheel of the car that he killed his last victim in. 'Ahhh. You I guess!' he thought again as another car passed round the bend. He made the natural hitchhikers sign for needing a ride. "I need a ride," the mysterious Roadrunner said the the sweet man as the car rolled to a stop at his feet. Did he really want to end this man's life?
"Are you alright? I can take you to the station up the road?" the driver said reaching for the door handle.
"You're so very kind helping me out like this, kind sir!" the Roadrunner replied jumping into the seat.
"My name is Bodie and I'm happy to help!" Bodie told the murderer. "Were you in that when it..." started Bodie.
"Crashed? You bet I was! I black out and then wake up to find you offering me assistance!" Roadrunner finished, smacking his head lightly with the palm of his hand.
Further on in the short journey, Bodie asked multiple more times if the murderer was ok but something in the roadrunner had changed. It was as if his enthusiasm was stripped from him along with his voice. Once more, Bodie asked how he was. "My dear pal, are you ok? You suddenly seem a little off." The Roadrunner just turned and looked at Bodie. And you'll never know what he saw because seconds later, he was lying at the bottom of a canyon underneath his car dead. The Roadrunner looked along the road for his next victim.
