Day 25 Lockdown - Mega city

megacity - THE LITERACY SHEDMega city

Welcome!

Today I have chosen to blog about some school work, I have decided to write up a setting description about an advert called Mega city (link below!).

So, here we go; my second piece of school work! Hope you enjoy it!

As the cold wind blew into his furry face, the dog collected all the money that had been dropped for the music skills of the man behind. The wet, cobbled street had a nasty, bitter breeze down it, nipping at civilian feet as they rushed to get somewhere out of the rain. The sounds down the lane were limited to that of the man's guitar that played melodious tunes on those miserable, wet days. A stench of wet dog and the sweet smell of street food combined together, making an unusual aroma rise up and infiltrate the ever-so-slightly agitated people's nostrils, leaving them confused over what could have possibly made such an unique scent. The many city buildings towered over the hurrying people below giving a feint spooky effect.

"Let's see what we got then," mumbled the man, reaching for his tattered old flat-cap.
"We've had a good innings today!" responded the dog while leaping up  and down."Didn't you see how many people passed and donated money?"
"I sure did Timmy, I sure did," replied the man as they speedily cycled away with thunder giving a standing ovation effect.

(You have to imagine the dog can talk; I  know right! Curriculum these days!)
